Then...there's this girl.
I so wish I could put some before and after pictures of my house and be picture perfect like young house love, Thrifty Decor Chic or my personal favorite Bower Power ...but I'm just not there yet! We've had so much to do in renovations over the last year that the real decorating is finally just beginning. We've got a long way to go.
To get the job done, hubs and I are planning an Ikea road trip Saturday...with a shopping list in hand! Shopping and a checklist?!? I need a cold shower...and a cigarette. Ikea is three hours away so it'll be a full day, but totally worth the road trip. Hopefully, after the shopping extravaganza, we'll be in shape to show off all of our hard work. Until then, here are a few things on our obscenely long Ikea wish list:
Don't you just love Ikea?
I LOVE Ikea!!! My living room furniture (couch, 2 chairs and 2 tables) all came from there. There isn't one remotely close to me, so I ordered it online and they delivered it. Shipping was expensive, but it was worth it! I absolutely love my furniture. I long for the day I can go to an actual Ikea store.
ReplyDeleteI do! I do love Ikea! At the townhouse when I first moved to DC, everything except my bedroom furniture was Ikea. Now, I have just the dining table and chairs, but the hubs and I are in the market for a dresser and I vote for the Hemnes black one! I live for Ikea. Can't wait to see those after pictures!
