Naughty, Naughty

During the week, Paul and I usually wake up together around 7am. I hop in for a quick shower while Paul takes Macie, our boxer, on a jog around the neighborhood.  Macie has boundless energy, so for the sake of our house, this run is a necessity. Without it, I never know what surprise awaits me when I get home from work!

This morning after the run, we let Macie out to run some more in the backyard. Minutes later when Paul went to let her in, he asked me to come take a look at "my dog." This is never a good sign. Here's what we found:

In a matter of minutes, Macie had managed to find a tennis ball, dig up a flower bed, and cover herself in dirt. What a pain in the butt!

There's no way I can be mad. Look at her face! I just had to capture the naughtiness.

                                                                                                                           Can you really blame me?

  1. Ahhh, sounds like something 'my dog' (also what my husband calls her when she's been naughty) would do! Except it makes even less sense because she's a Bichon-Poodle mix - She's supposed to be girly, but she's a total tomboy!

  2. Aw how cute!! He's like my baby! Buddy is always getting into trouble and he is CRAZY. You never know what he is going to do!

  3. I feel you! We have a 4-month-old pound hound (is he a labrahound or a hound-ador? We may never know.)who has to go on at least three vigorous walks a day to even be manageable at night. I went outside for literally two minutes the other day and when I came back Sawyer had knocked all the glasses off the coffee table and managed to type some random letters into some open gmail chats. But at least our sweet pups are cute, right?

  4. Hello, I'm here from Mingle Monday and I can definitely appreciate this post. My boyfriend and I have a 3 and a half month golden retriever puppy and are starting to learn what he's capable of. ;-) We also have a very similar routine like yours where we both get up at 6am, I shower while he takes the pup out and then it's his turn to get ready.

I'm looking forward to reading more from you :-)
