Moments like these...

Yesterday, I had the joy of sharing a moment with my friend Stacey as she welcomed home her fiance, Gary from a seven month deployment. As a military wife, I know there is nothing harder than saying goodbye to the person you love most for such a long period of time. Worse off, there are so many things that are missed over the course of six or more months. Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays just aren't the same without your love to share it. While those aspects of a deployment can be unbearable, any military spouse will tell you that there is nothing sweeter than welcoming your loved one home. Please enjoy the following images of Gary's homecoming:

The waiting game was hard. We got there about an hour early as you do not want to be fashionably late for this event!

And then we saw them. Four strong and full of loved ones.

Can you see the joy?

There he is...

and there she goes...

Seven months of separation...where are the tissues?

Happy Homecoming, you two. Enjoy your time together!
